Room 15's Camp Day Three

On Thursday Room 15 had a lot of activities to do. First we went to the Redwood Forest before we did some travelling to Taupo. In the Redwood Forest we did a scavenger hunt. We went for a 30 minute walk. There were a lot of native bushes there. I thought it would just be trees.
After the Redwood Forest we travelled to Taupo to go to the Lava Glass Studio. There was heaps of creative glasses. We went into the room where they make the glasses. It was steaming hot it looked pretty easy to make but I think it would be hard work for working in that heat. We left from the Lava Glass Studio to go to the AMAZING Huka Falls!!
When we got out of the bus we herd very powerful water swishing. The water was very clear. It was very hot day I just wanted to jump in there but I didn't because I would get a lot of injuries or I will just die.
After the falls we left to go to the Honey Hive. We went inside and there was a man talking to us about all the different bees. The boy bees are lazy and the worker bees do a lot. There is even queen bees. Then we left the Honey Hive to go to the Volcanic Activity Centre
When we first got to the Volcanic Activity Centre a lady talked to us. When she finished her talk we had to do a worksheet. There was an earthquake simulator and I went in it. It felt like you were in a huge earthquake.
After the Volcanic Centre we went to our camp site in Taupo. We packed all of our bags into our rooms. For tea we had a BBQ and for dessert we had candy floss YUM!! After that we had showers, we changed into our pyjamas and played some board games and then went to bed.
