Week 10 Reflection

What: This week we learnt two new websites called edmodo and pellbounds. When we found the website we decided we are going to do all of our work online but when the internet is down we have to do it in our books. On Tuesday I was in Room 2, we went on Photo Story 3. We had to choose some pictures and write what we liked about them. The rest of the class went to Palmerston North. On Edmodo I have finished all of my work except my inquiry. Edmodo is a website. You just go to Edmodo then make a new tab, then go to the top where it says drive when you get to google drive you click on create then document. When you are finished you go back to edmodo and turn your work in. Spellodrome is a spelling website you can practice your words, play wordlist games you can also face people online. We faced people online and I faced one of my classmates. We didn’t get to play because we had to pack up. Yesterday we changed our jobs around and me and Brandin got the fruit job. We got a thing that counts how many steps we take we are having a challenge who can get the most every week.

So What: This week I have learnt how to do all of my work online and send my assignments to the teacher. I have learnt how to face people at spelling online. I have learnt more about gathering data through all senses.

Now What: My goal is to get my lion head on king.

Olympics by Makail

Yesterday we had our medal ceremony. I got one medal, I only got a silver medal. Our events were Long Distance, Hockey, shotput, sack racing, sprints, vortex, High jump, Long jump and scooter racing. The Carlton School Olympics was fun/challenging. For the silver medal you got a certificate and a blue ribbon. For the Bronze you got a certificate and an orange ribbon. For the gold you got a certificate and a gold medal. In the finals I did Long distance I didn't come 1st, Tarron came 1st but I dont care if he did anyway because he is in my team. After you went up to get your certificate and ribbon you had to walk outside and pick up these flowers and hold them with our certificate and ribbon.
